@lucifehr yes

Personally this is one of the most straightforward events for me (I'm Beta f2p, 3rd daily cycle in). I feel it's very generous in the rewards. Event ladder usually would make the most sense for all levels of player -- if you want to pursue for higher tier rewards, you should, and if you don't want, you still can aim for 100% completion, and have ample amount of time to finish them. It's win-win for everyone. It's not all trials either, so those who are newer don't have to be frustrated not clearing Legendary trials.

To reply OP, for Legendary -- I find that I only need to have enough sustain, whether you choose to mitigate via Lucille Inquisitor, or AOE Taunt from Guardian, and focus your delays on backline. I find the difficulty par with story Legendary maps (around act 3).

To those who needs some tips, I used a balance composition, and what I did was bring Skill Delay and/or CC, and 1 tank. You can choose Cybella Gunslinger for redirection on a tanky unit as well (you'll have more DPS overall). I swapped to Paladin Victoria and stalled in wave 1 for Kiera Mind Warder's skill (Skill Delay) to be up. I used Kiera's skills on backline and focused killing Shizu first (she has the shortest CD), while all units are taunted. Melee targets Freya, while range goes for Kane. Darrion has a 7 skill turn CD so you have some time before he starts stunning you. Once you clear everyone except Darrion you've basically won. Use healing skill when you need it. I'm not sure if this is the case in PVE, but Skill Delay will go through invulns in general in Arena so be aware of that. Pots are absolute recommended. I didn't use any event heroes as well! My equipments are 4* +9's to +15's and some +15 runes on my DPS characters. But I believe you can do it with lesser runes. As for a newbie team, I still find the trigger team useful with some replacements such as a taunt or a sustain unit. Hope this helps those who wants to try clearing Legendary~
Can share what is the typical drops for clearing the legendary...wanted to see if it is worth the efforts and energy since it is not required to clear the event this time

I got a random 4* armour (champion), a 2* fodder, max shards I've gotten so far is 20ish? I've only ran a few runs there so there isn't much data pool available. It's probably a bit more energy efficient once you finished your required runs.

Great event for build up the team, Fodders, Equipment, and a sack of gold .

This is my first time to enter an event with Ladder on it, if somebody can explain how it works that would be greatly appreciated
Have a couple question :
- The point is based on what factor ? is it only from the exchange currency dropped by the event maps ?
- Since the Ladder will only start from weeks 2 onward, does it mean everything that we did on weeks 1 not count for it ?

For your question, the point is based on a special currency, which will be available when the ladder starts. For the Halloween Event ladder, the exchange currency was pumpkins, but event point is based on "orbs" which only start to drop during ladder period. The number of orbs we got seems to be proportional to the pumpkins.
Everything you did in week 1 doesn't count towards ladder.

I'll just share my squad build:
Paladin Victoria
Warlord Freya
Slayer Sylvia
Inquisitor Lucille
Ninja Kai(pretty useless, but then I don't have the equips for a 3rd Champion unit lol)

Stall at stage one to reduce skill counter
Pull Kiera in front
Front lines do their thing
Use Paladin Active skill to minimize damage taken by the frontline

Teresa would be a good substitute for this setup

My ideal setup would then be:
Warlord Freya
Berserker Vincent
Paladin Victoria/Darrion(I think Victoria works better because of the fixed damage reduction)
Inquisitor Lucille(for backup)
Grand Ranger Kane(behind Berserker for maximum damage)
