Market prices have inflated many times over a few patch, I wouldn't recommend any newbies to go for it.

The new Armorsmith is also really nice to be able to make 5 star armor sets - the Iron Quarry built early shouldn't be disposed of (Edit: too early) because you'll need lots of Copper Ores (200 per equip). And you need them with the correct suffix (e.g. Might) and/or good stats if you're a perfectionist so it'll take many Copper Ores.

Edit: Building a Salvage Yard seems like the better choice! Thanks to Nightingale.
Small plots provides for many buildings that gives passive income/buffs which is the most useful throughout the game, don't waste it on Iron Quarry just for copper ores. Salvage yard is more resourceful in breaking down equipments for more copper ores in addition to other materials of all rarity that can help in crafting high tier equipments in the Armorsmith.

If you cannot clear up to the Legendary 4th Act (because the materials you need to make the equips are there) which many players (I'm assuming) will have trouble with, as the Gryphon Lord at Legendary 3rd Act's final map is quite a huge hurdle to overcome; you can build Fusion Altar to acquire the materials needed!

For the sake of achievements? You should've mentioned it in the first place if it were the case. Else people will just keep upgrading and regret later.

I don't have a Salvage Yard so thanks for the advice. xD Hope this helps others too.

That depends, do you really need the Marketplace more than you need the copper ores? Here is what you get you get for salvaging equipment.

1* = 7 copper ore
2* = 12 copper ore
3* = 25 copper ore
4* = 50 copper ore
5* = 100 copper ore

All these in addition to a few other materials of the same rarity respectively. If you have surplus of equipment from farming constantly, then salvage yard is good to have.

nightingale what is your build setup like currently?

also do you breakdown 3* weapons and above in salvage yard? if i want to aim to build higher weapon set what is the ideal building breakdown?

umm, what level does your salvage yard need to be to salvage 3* equipments
