Re: New Player and Constructive Criticism

Well, based on the fact that I'm level 50+, and still barely able to farm like 40 pumpkins on Normal, those 20 pumpkins aren't that bad... but those 25000 pumpkins are...
Then perhaps this is a problem with the balancing of the event, not just for new players but for players in general. Personally, I've given up on the event and played through story mode. This is not how an official launch event should go.

(newbie perspective) 5 energy for average 40 pumpkin per run, doesn't sounds like a good deal.
200 pumpkin for 1 halloween ticket which mean a average newbie need around 25 energy per ticket.
If newbie wanna complete the event quest they will probably need around 120 ~ 200 halloween ticket since it's RNG.
let's say 120 ticket, 120* 25 = 3000 energy needed, that being said. almost impossible for newcomers unless they're spender.

I've played some really grindy mobile games, and this immediately puts it at the top of the list.

This thread is steering towards the right direction.
I agree that the event is a bit over grindish. Even for casual veterans, that amount of pumpkins feel like buying a 24k gold with 1 cent coins.
Arena wise I have no comment. I have enough ruthless defeat lol. Dealing 20 to 200 dmg most of the time and getting one shot. But that being say, I'm not PvP oriented so I'm not bothered.
The 3D image I personally think could be slightly improve because it feels like Tomb Raider in the 2000 franchise haha. I hope one day I'll be able to see a Ciri (Witcher) or Lara Croft (ROTR). *JUST kidding* my phone is not a computer.

I have seen the same topic for the first 2 events too.
And white knights was defending the events saying that everything can be beaten with some grind and a lot of effort from the player, but i never think that was fair for new players/not hardcore ones.

Almost all the rpg gatcha games has events with scaling difficulties, and a lot of steps with different rewards. (50% achivment is not the same thing)
I don't see the point to not follow the same example

I too feel that the game's official launch is somewhat odd. Like.. it's nothing. No special launch event(s). Nothing beginner friendly other than the new daily login. I have never encountered a game that launches officially without a launch event.

I hope the devs & publisher get their heads straight. There's nothing to lose. Just reward the players, keep them entertained, they stay and we all know who's gonna benefit from that.
