For whether you want Magebane Kai to be (Ares) or (Hera), it's totally up to you. Magebane is not very reliant of his CRIT except for his skill damage, so having (Ares) benefits you in survivability and raw damage, while (Hera) gives you lower DEF but a better critical attack chance.
