LuLu event. Event goals are tedious and unrewarding.

Sun Sep 04, 2016 1:41 am

  • Complete normal 150 times
  • Complete heroic 100 times
  • Complete legendary 75 times
Rewards is 3 x Lulu =.=;. If you are still sane or alive by the time u finished these...next goal is
  • Get Lulu invoker
  • Get Lulu spellbreaker
Oh wait, are u telling me i have to train and level x3 times + farm 20 relics to promote to Lulu invoker and repeat again the whole process for another Spellbreaker? All these effort for two duplicate 4* chars i may not use in the future.  And the reward for these two goals are more LuLu >.<;

The rest of the event goals are still reasonable and manageable with decent rewards.

End reward for whole event: 200gems. I'm not sure if its worth completing the event when i look at all these goals i have to achieve. Am i missing something?

You can sell the CDs for 500g each. Im already done with normal X 150 times. So now half way thru legendary. before i go to heroic.
Im using the event to grind gold and the 200 gems.
And probably use the lulu to PVP and Limit break

If you don't think they are worth it, I would recommend not going for it.

However there are people who would like to max her level and her skill (Her aoe sleep sounds devastating) and multiple Lulu's will help limit break her. So the more you get of her, the better. For those people all the Lulu's they can get will probably be worth it, except maybe the second promotion one. Those people would have to decide if it is worth it to fully train/promote a lulu for an extra 200 Gems.... Which still might not be worth it. Unless they are P2W in which case they can just buy class keys and summon trash and if that is less than 200 Gems, might be worth it for them.

That aside, doing it all will be tedious. I know I won't be able to front the energy for the 150/100 nodes. But I can understand the people that do.

Spending all the effort to promote to a 4* and the reward is a 3* feels underwhelming. I could have better spend the resources on my own team. If you want to set the bar high, you have to give matching rewards too. Or make it easier and simpler and give lesser rewards.
Promoting one Lulu is fine. Its a good mage char. No need to make us waste resources make a dupilicate.

Suggestion: Merge the two promoting event goals. Change it to "Get a Lulu Invoker OR Spell Breaker
                      from anywhere" instead.
Reduce normal "Repeat 150x" to 100x.
                      Reduce heroic 100x to 75x.
                      Reduce legendary 75x to 50x.
This change can cut down on redundant goal. Make completing the event smoother and less tedious and unnecessary waste of valuable resources. Give ppl the feeling of choice and control. Not forced labour. F2P players can finish event easier too.

Event are supposed to give rewards and make players engage and happy. Not making it tedious, unrewarding and in the end disappointment from not finishing it.

F2P players will get turned off and quit. Getting a team strong enough to finish legendary within 2 weeks for a new game is tough enough. Then you have to farm 150x/100x/75x and promote 2 chars to 4*(Burn 40 job keys). Wow...big turn off. Feels like an endgame event instead of a launch event.

This first event for a new game will set the future impression for players. They will decide to keep playing or quit because if this first event is so disaapointing, most probably the next is as well. Even paying player like me feels underwhelmed.

It seems worth it to me. This is an easy way to get a lot of Lulu's for limit breaking. Getting the first one or two is fairly easy and fast. This would suffice for the casual player. They get a nice monster and maybe an extra for a different path or for limit breaking. This also satisfies the hardcore player because they can stalk up on Lulu's for limit breaking a process that would otherwise be expensive, time consuming, or and most likely, both.

I don't believe the Lulu event is meant to be a speculator grand opening event but a monthly event they might do to help newer players get a foot in the door. And later on the more seasoned players will be able to tackle the heroic versions far easier for faster rewards.
