This is a brief guide on the ways to get energy.
Energy is one of the MOST important resource in the game. Energy is recovered at a rate of 1 energy every 10 mins.

As such, everyday, you can get
+144 energy from normal energy regen (1440 mins a day)
+24 energy from lunch, dinner bonus energy (at 12-2 and 6-8 daily)
+5 energy from donating to guild
+8 energy from daily quest
+48 energy from watermill (currently not max yet, so, yeah...)
+30 energy from expedition (currently not max yet, so, yeah...)
That's a total of 259 energy guaranteed (to be updated once I max watermill)

+8/12 energy from wishing well (5 wish chance, 12 possible items, 2 of them energy)
+15 energy from market (some days it sells, some days it doesn't, but it)
+8 energy from Royal reward chest upon completing all guild quests (If you are lucky, you will get like 3 out of 4 draws as energy)
+? energy from developers (like the recent thanksgiving, all players were give 20 energy daily ^^)

Additionally, you can buy energy from the shop. Please note that subsequent purchases daily doubles the cost.
+25 energy for 25 gems
+60 energy for 50 gems (first 5 purchase gives 100 total)

So in total, you may get upwards of 400 energy daily, so it should be relatively easy to farm for gold, gear, etc.
