Was into day 3 of the game. Wanted to hit 400 gems for event reward and 200 gems away so decided to roll heroes 5x and the first 2 i rolled was these 2 event heroes. But honestly i felt nothing. I still cant progress thru the game, still cant go past heroic stage 14 to get some decent 3* equipment. Cant pass stage 13 of event too.

And its a Kratos 3* miu and Hercules cybella hunter to boot.

I'll like to know whats the hype to get these heroes. are they that good?

And is the faith a very important part of the game?

And i already have a 5* potential shadow and ranged in kane and kai

After spending a total of 400+ gems to roll for heroes, i got:

All 3*
Hera Kane (given valiant)
Zeus Faye 
Zeus kai
Hera Luthor

And a 4* Rin and Claude

Whats the best thing to focus on? Keep bashing against the event? Or build up my core team first?

People wanted Miu because she has 150% stat in the event. Her kensei and samurai form also has good utility (blind skill) and it's really helpful in higher floors of the tower.
If you just started 3 days, your resource is limited, especially job keys needed to promote your heroes to five stars
Even you have a lot of five star potential heroes, you are not going to progress far if they are still 3 and 4 stars, that's why you can't complete heroic stages. Heroes become more powerful and useful when they evolve to five star. When I first started, I also couldn't complete the event that was ongoing. This event is already more friendly in terms of rewards, so you can complete some lower floors and get good rewards.

Miu can also be useful in Story Mode because her skill make enemies miss the attack. In my opinion, just go for her at 4 stars for this event and continue to build your core team You might actually want to add her to your core team after using her.  But five star evolution need 50 job keys so I don't think you can farm them in time for the event.

Other than Miu, you already have good potential heroes, Hera Kane (given valiant), Zeus Faye , Zeus kai are all heroes with good faiths. Luthor is kind of subpar compared to Teresa but you can use him until you roll for Teresa.  You lack a good Champion unit though. For someone who just started 3 days, you're considered very lucky with your roll. Some people couldn't find heroes with five star potential even after 2-3 400 gems roll.

100 summons for 1 Athena Cybella and no Miu. Consider yourself lucky.

Miu does not have a 150% stat boost. Only 50%... I have a 5k+ attack miu and when I do the event she is only boosted by 3k attack.

I got a feeling the rng will even out and a champion or mags will keep eluding me....

count urself very lucky. Lotsa people spend over 4000 gems with no miu or cybella.

of course you wont feel their strength as you get them, you would need to build them up first to see how lucky you are

for beginners, faith don't matter much, just get them all to 5* asap to progress fast
