Unfortunately, with the newest patch, this has changed as now when viewing each hero's full 2D art, it is no longer fullscreen and the art is cropped by the exp bar/resource meters etc. at the top and the new 'Voice/Victory/Costume' options at the bottom. While these are useful and fine additions to the Gallery, I would like to have retained the option to view the fullscreen 2D art.
Thus, I would like to propose perhaps adding another button that would allow us to view the art in fullscreen, or make it so that tapping the screen again while the 'Voice/Victory/Costume' buttons are showing would lead to the fullscreen art rather than returning to the hero stats page.
