Firstly the Gems in Valiant Force is an very important currency which allows the players to purchase a variety of gems-purchasable only items that the in game currency (Gold) would not mostly allow you like expanding item slots, extra job keys, arena orbs etc, which the Gems are mostly commonly known it as cash-currency. The most easiest way to obtain Gems is through Purchasing, but there are also many other ways that the game allows you to farm up and obtain Gems. This Guide can help newcomers and veterans to find out how much Gems they can farm and obtain in completing parts of the game. So Lets Get to it!

No.1 Farming Story Line
The easiest way to obtain gems for free when you are new to the game is through the Story mode. The amount that can be earned will be listed below:

Story Line Gems: 426
Job Quest Gems: 36
(Chapter 1 & 2 is abit unique as they give out armour and weapons as rewards upon first completion)
Heroic 100% Completion (3 Stars Trial rewards: 9 Gems)
Story Line Gems: 648
Job Quest Gems: 108
Legendary 100% Completion (3 Stars Trial rewards: 10 Gems)
Story Line Gems: 720
Job Quest Gems: 120
Daily Event Dungeon
There are 3 Daily Event Dungeon which will tend to be very important for every player, which you are also able to obtain Gems from it.
For Each Dungeon, Completing all the Trials within gives you 25 Gems.
Total that can be earned from the Dungeons are 75 Gems.
Upon All completion total Gem Gained will be 2133 Gems.

No.2 Questing
While you are playing, there are many quest that will reward you gems upon completion! There are 4 main areas in Quest to obtain Gems,

Daily Quest is one of the best way to get free Gems and it refreshes everyday at 5 a.m. GMT+8. It rewards you with 15 Gems upon all completing all of the Quests.
2) All Time
All Time Quest have 4 different categories which is split into Story (Quest), Collection, Garrison and Special. In this 4 main areas, quest are given out according to different areas, where there is the Story Line, Collection of equipment and heros, upgrading and building up the Garrison and Special covers the remaining game features like friendship, leveling up and Arena Battles. All Time Quest does give out plenty of gems however due to as i am not 100% completed, i am unable to quantify how much Gems you would be able to earn from the All Time Quest.
3) Guide Quest
Guide Quest purpose is to mostly to allow newcomers to explore the features of the game as well as setting milestone for newcomers to complete. There is indeed Gems that you can earn from Guide Quest. There are 3 parts to Guide Quest + the chest rewards upon full completion, below is the Gems that can be earned:
Basic Quest: 65 Gems
Advance Quest: 75 Gems
Expert Quest: 210 Gems
4) Event Quest
Event Quest are quests that given out to players in correspond to the current Event. Sometime the quests does not give itself does not give out Gems, however most of the Gems that can be earn are through 4 areas. They are mainly the Event Chest (Mostly 3 Chest), Trial Rewards, from the Bazaar and Event Ladder. During Event it is one of the best ways to obtain Gems such that you don't exhaust the limited gems that can be farmed. The Gems rewarded varies from Event to Event. For Event Ladder, it gives out more rewards and Gems and the range of Gems that can be earned are from 30 to 3000 Gems.

No.3 Arena
This is one of the features of the game where you are able to farm up Gems weekly easily with its Unique System. The Arena is one of the best ways for many newcomers and beginners to earn gems quickly and i will advise that it is best you always try to use up the arena orbs to push your rank up. This is some of the reason why so. The Arena have certain safe points that prevent the player from dropping in rank after reaching it, and the rewards given out will gradually increase as you slowly climb the ladder. Furthermore there are milestone to be achieved that you can obtain from achieving a new rank. The information below will show what are the rewards. So for the Gems that can be earned are:
Weekly:
Bronze 1-2: 30 Gems
Bronze 3- Sliver 1: 40 Gems
Sliver 2-3: 50 Gems
Gold 1-2: 60 Gems
Gold 3 to Platinum 1: 70 Gems
Platinum 2-3: 80 Gems
Diamond 1-2: 100 Gems
Diamond 3 to Crystal 1: 110 Gems
Crystal 2-3: 120 Gems
Expert 1: 130 Gems
Expert 2: 140 Gems
Expert 3: 150 Gems
Master 1: 160 Gems
Master 2: 170 Gems
Master 3: 180 Gems
Champion: 250 Gems
Milestone:
Total Gems that can be earned from Bronze to Champion is: 2630 Gems

No.4 Buildings
There are a few buildings that refreshes daily that allows you to obtain Gems Free!
Wishing Well Building (Max)
- At Max there would be the option to obtain either 5 or 25 Gems in each try (Total 5 free tries daily)
- Potential Obtainable Amount: 0 to 125 Gems
Gem Cavern Building (Max)
- Generates 15 Gems/Day at Max Level ( At a higher prestige level, up to 21 Gems/day)
- Gem Expedition: 10 Gems
- Total Obtainable Amount: 25-31 Gems
Guild Hall
- Completing the Daily Guild Quest rewards a Guild Chest
- Rewards given out by random with chance of gems, which a 6 star guild chest, obtainable gems are 7
- Total Obtainable Amount in 1 Chest: 28 Gems
