I’m against complete randomization of a Hero’s faith when rerolling, we already have Gachas which already leave us at the mercy of RNG and the rates are bad as it is already. If it were up to me, I would like some form of control to reroll to the faith I want. While the recommendations are there I just want to point out a few things good or bad from each of them.
The first recommendation to replace sacrificed card’s faith into the Hero. I welcome this, but this can be too easy if it can be any card regardless of rarity. Make it percent chance at least? If the sacrifice is the faith I want maybe a 50% chance for a 5* to succeed? Lower rarity lower chance?
The second recommendation to use more number of lower rarity card to reroll. If we are not talking about using duplicates of lower rarity then its fine. If we are then can you imagine the chances of acquiring duplicates in Gachas? It’s not like we can roll Gachas every day or every week. In the future more Heroes getting released means the pool will increase, lowering the chances of getting duplicates. Aside from the gems we get from daily quests and achievements, the amount is not enough for a 400 gem pull. Even the source from achievements will run out eventually, then where can we farm for gems to sustain in the long run? Farming for premium currency is not a bad idea and has worked for many games, it should be a thing. Getting a duplicate Valiant is another story, I know we get 1 3* free every month but if rerolling is randomized and I get another crap faith then that’s 1 month wasted.
The third recommendation to use the same Hero of any rarity to reroll the same Hero. Same opinion as recommendation number two.
The fourth recommendation to manually select faith for each reroll. This is as easy as recommendation number one. Okay, maybe the easiest out of the four.
I would like to give a recommendation of my own, I don’t know if it has been suggested or no but I’d like to recommend it either way and that is creating new currency for the faith system. Very much similar to Job keys, but instead of Job Relics you get Faith Relics (They are deities after all so why not an instrument of worship?). So changing faiths require certain amount of specific faith relics (Make this for job switching as well with job relics?). But why stop there, why not have a levelling system for faith as well? We currently can train our Heroes to +1/+2, we can have that for faith, the higher the level the bigger the stat bonus according to grade. This idea may sound like a game changer to some or making it sound like faith is a big deal. But modifying faith is designed to be an end game thing after all.
