Newbie Question Regarding Equipment (F2P)

Tue Jan 10, 2017 9:07 pm

Been playing VF as F2P player about a week but I am confused with one thing.

Do I need to upgrade and use my current 3* set equipment from quest or wait for the 4* set equipment from quest as end game equipment?

Kindly advice. Thank you :)

Well, 1st of all you gotta know what u'd want and how to find it.

Gallery > Equipment > Set only would show all the current available set available in the game. You can click on the item and click Find It to see if it is possible to get in missions.
What end game players hope to achieve is a good mixture of bonus set stats which higher star equipment would usually give.

Even as a F2P player, 5 star equipment are available to you, in many different ways. It could be forged, earn by tickets and through events.
Some 4 star sets are decent, i even upgraded and enchanced the Spectre set to 6*

Hope that helps

Relax and slow down a bit good sir. You can't beat the higher difficulty levels that easily. You've only been playing for a week or so right? Settle with the quests/event nodes you can handle and slowly but surely build up your team. Upgrade them to 5*s. LB them if possible. Try to build synergy among your teams skills and auras. You can worry about good equips later. Rome wasn't built in a day err... week after all.

omg i'm so sorry i didn't see the playing for a week and gave you end game advices

michaelwsc's right, to move on with higher difficulty, prioritize on your characters instead of equipment first. Upgrading equipment will cost a bomb too

Of course, there are a few ways to quickly gain 4*/5* equipment.

1) Gem summon
2) Build armor forge and forge them
3) Build weapons forge and fuse them
4) Use express tickets and farm. Just a quick review, in case you don't know, express tickets give the same drops and a run. So, in tough fights, you might want to just use gems once to clear them, then express them to farm for the equipment that you need. When I first started, and had trouble in some of the maps, I used the express tickets to farm some 4* armor sets, after which, fights became slightly easier.
