Early game:
Should I re-roll?
Generally the variants are pretty useful and good in their own way, so you'll probably be good with regardless of what you get, though there have been people complaining that Lucile (the healer) is pretty useless and outclassed by Teresa (another 5 star capable healer). So if you get her, you could re-roll if you want?
Is *insert Faith here* good for *hero name*?
So the general consensus about the faiths are as below, but auras, skills and personal preference will also determine which is the "best" faith, so this is more of a general guide:
Guardians
-Kratos
-Hercules
-Zeus
Champions
-Ares
-Zeus
Shadow
-Hera
-Ares
-Zeus
Mystic
-Athena
-Hercules
Healer
-Athena
-Hercules
Ranger
-Hera
-Ares
-Zeus
Here's an explaination on what the different faiths do: Faith here
So now we're done re-rolling 20 times for your prefer Valiant and faith, next comes
Buildings
So 1 day into the game and you'll probably realize that you can't build everything, so yeah, you'll have to choose, what building you can build depends on what size of land you have unlocked, for example you can only build gold mines on the "small-sized" plots of land (2x2), and you can only build one of each building. So, here comes the part most of you are really after:
Recommended buildings
Wishing well
Marketplace
Gold Mine
Armorsmith
Iron Quarry (If you built the Armorsmith)
Weaponforge
Gem Carven
The rest are more of personal preference and the buildings above are mostly mid-long term buildings, so they'll be useful for a long time.
Here's a second opinion if you guys are interested in one! aikawakazu's post!
Expeditions
This is probably how most of us would get our supplies in the game lol, just click on the town hall and the rest should be common sense.
The expeditions that you can take and the rarity/numbers of items you obtain depends on what building you have in town.
Gold Mine - Gold (50000 at max gold mine level)
Worker's Hut - Smithing Hammers (the things that increase the success of upgrading a weapon)
Alchemy Lab - Plant class crafting materials/ fluid class crafting materials (dunno which, conflicting sources)
Armoursmith - Hide class crafting materials
Farm - Seed class crafting materials
Iron Quarry - Ore class crafting materials
Salvage Yard - Material tickets apparently
Marketplace - Healing potions
Wishing well - Express tickets
Merc Camp - I have no idea
Fusion Altar - Gold bars
Weapon Forge - Weapon and off-hand ticket
Strike tower - Atk up consumables
Defence Tower - Def up consumables
Academy - Quest keys for job quest
Training camp - Exp potions
Watermil - Energy
Mystic Tower - Magic up consumables
Gem Cavern - Gems
Kudos to Aikeva and Crazyfight for some of the expedition info!
Here's a better and more organised post by aikawakazu: Another one of the post!
Auras
So this is the troublesome part cause there's a lot to cover about this, but here's the general FAQ that I've had when starting out.
Do the same heroes have the same Auras?
- Yes and no, the same Hero, i.e. same Name/class/job, will always have the same Aura skill, however, the direction of the area of the Aura might not be the same, in other words, all 3 star knight Leon will always have "Defensive Aura" (yeah, the skill name is actually that), but the direction the Aura is facing might not be the same, some might face left, some right, some up and some down.
If all Auras are the same, what does the reroll Aura button do?
- It should probably be renamed reroll Aura direction, cause that's what it does, you sacrifice a 4 star unit to RNGesus and he will bestow upon you a second chance of a new Aura direction. The skill stays the same, only the direction changes.
Do Aura stacks?
Lots of ways to look at this question but so far here's what have been told to me, would appreciate any clarification though:
So yeah, would appreciate it if anyone can confirm this.1) if you proc twice with the same hero, i'm pretty sure it doesn't stack but it overwrites the existing buff.
2) if 2 hero poison proc on the same hero, if i'm not mistaken they don't overlay and it will overwrites the existing buff. (no stacking of damage and duration as well)
Equipment
This is a pretty important part imo, basically the equipment in this game are like pretty important, a level 25 naked Rin would have lower stats than a same Rin at level 1 with fully equiped un-upgraded 2 star equipment sets. So having the right gear could really help your team out a lot, so on to it:
How do I get equipments?
You can get them from
- Quest Drops
- Gold Summon (i.e. "free summon")
- Gem Summon
- Event Missions
- Missions in general
- Crafting ( Armorsmith and Weapon Forge)
I'm screwed if I don't have decent gear?
Yes
Help me
The game is pretty generous compared to some other games I've played, it's probably in the top 3 spot for most generous games I've played, anyway, you can get 4 star equipments in the game
reliabily for free, quest on Legendary difficulty drop 4 star equipments, and with the auto function and express tickets, it's not that hard to farm for them cause they have a decent drop rate. If you have a Armoursmith, the process is even quicker, farm the materials, poof, new gear, you can currently craft armor up to 5*, yeah, remember when I said the game was generous? You can get the materials you need from quest, buildings and expeditions, you'll get the hang of it by then, so I'll save the details. The 5 star weapons are a bit trickier though, if you have a Weapon Forge, you can throw in 5 4 star weapons to get a random 5 star weapon, 4 3 stars for a 4 star, 3 2 stars for a 3 star, etc etc.
Why are my weapons stats different?
The game is, to put it in a nice way, very customisable, there are a few different titles that give different stats for the same equipment, so here's the list:
"Equipment name" of Might
- The equipment will normally have a bonus that boost the atk stat and/or crit stat.
"Equipment name" of Defence
- HP/ Def
"Equipment name" of Wizardry
- As the name implies, the equipment will often have bonuses for the Mag stat and weirdly the atk stat.
"Equipment name" of Zodiac
- Seems to be the all rounder, it can have bonuses for everything(?). (Credits to alvinherexD and tackey)
"Equipment name" of Trinity
- It boost attack and defence. (Credits to tackey!)
Heroes
I should have probably put it on top.
So how make hero strong?
Hero strong many ways, upgrading, promoting, equipment, training, limit breaking and leveling.
What that?
Equipment
- If you are asking this, you need to apologise to your phone and/or any other gaming console that you own.
Leveling
- Hero gain exp, hero gain level, hero turn strong.
Training
- Training is basically feeding other units to your hero so that it grows big and strong, currently you gain a maximum of 10% bonus to all stats when you train a hero to the max level.
Upgrading
- When your hero reaches 100% in training and they're at their max level, you can upgrade them, they carry over their current stats and reset their level back to level 1. You can do this two times per hero and they get a +1 for the first time or +2 the second time next to their name. Also your active skill limit cap increases by 10 levels.
Promoting
- When your hero is at max level, +2 and 100% training, you can promote your hero(i.e evolve your hero), just get the job advancement items, which if you're reading this, is porbably in Chapter 13 to 18 of the story quest, then click click, new job for your hero. Shit, I just realised they called it a promotion cause your hero advances his job. Important to note that the level of your active skill will not carry over when your hero promotes.
Limit breaking
- When your hero is unable to evolve, and has reached +2, you can limit break your hero up to 5 times by fusing the same hero of the same class to it and it gets extra 2 levels added to the level cap for each duplicate of himself that he eats. You probably won't need this guide if you're at this stage, so I'm gonna stop here.

After you've done dealing with the basics of things, we'll move on to one of the more interesting things in the game:
Runes
So there are two types of runes available in the game, stat runes and skill runes, which as the name implies, are different in their effects to your character, but we'll get to that later.
Slots
The first thing that we will talk about is the number of slots the runes take up, in the case of stat runes, the maximum amount of slots it can take up is 3 and the lowest being 1, with runes that take up a higher number of slots giving a larger stat boost to the character equipping it, which means that it is possible for a 2 star rune that takes up 2 slots give a higher stat increase than a 3 star rune that takes up 1 slot. In the case of skill runes however, the case differs, the effects remain the same regardless of the rarity of the rune, however, skill runes of higher rarity will take up less slots than their more common counterparts.
Set bonuses
One thing that applies to both are the bonuses, whereby if you have a number of runes of the same colour, the character will get a stat bonus, as shown below:
Fury Rune of xxx (Red): 10% increase in ATK stat for every 4 Fury runes equipped
Energy Rune of xxx (Orange): 10% increase in MAG for every 4 Energy runes equipped
Giant Rune of xxx (Pink): 5% increase in HP for every 2 Giant runes equipped
Guard Rune of xxx (Blue): 5% increase in DEF for every 2 Guard runes equipped
Focus Rune of xxx (Green): 5% increase in CRIT for every 2 Focus rune equipped
In case you were wondering, the bonuses do stack, and the number of slots the runes take up doesn't affect the bonuses you get, if you have a 3 slot Guard rune and a 1 slot Guard rune, you will still get 5% increase in DEF.
Stat runes
You guys should probably know what these are by now, but in case you didn't, these are the different types of stat runes available in the game:
xxx Rune of Attack: These runes increase your ATK.
xxx Rune of Defence: These runes increase your DEF.
xxx Rune of Magic: These runes increase your MAG.
xxx Rune of Health: These runes increase your HP.
xxx Rune of Critical: These runes increase your CRIT.
Skill Runes
Now we finally arrive at the fun part, basically these are runes that gives your character an extra skill of sorts, I don't exactly know how many are they, but these are the ones I found so far:
xxx Rune of Vampire: Attacks heal 5% of damage dealt.
xxx Rune of Dodging: 10% chance to dodge incoming attacks.
xxx Rune of Refresh: 10% chance to refresh hero when moving.
xxx Rune of Resillience: 70% chance to resist ailments, once per wave.
xxx Rune of Miracle: Withstand a killing blow if HP>90%.
The fun thing about these runes is that the % will increase (or decrease in the case of the Miracle rune) by a fixed amount every time you upgrade the rune.
PVP
The PVP system for this game works slightly differently from most games. there are two conditions you can achieve to win the match, namely:
1. Defeat all of your opponent's heroes.
2.Obtain 100 points during the match.
I'll skip on explaining the first method because it's pretty straight forward.
For the second method, you can obtain points when you fulfill one of the 3 condition below:
1. A turn passes. (1 point)
2. Standing on the marked tiles on the centre of the map. (Points varies depending on where you stand.)
3. Defeating an opponent's hero. (15 points)
As per usual I have no idea what else you guys could possibly need, but if there's any you think is worth writing about, just post it below, and I'll try to fill it in here! Also, if anyone is willing to provide some pictures, I'll be willing to put the pics in and make it pretty or something.
