Hatchling missing as fodder for fusion

Its been like this since the beginning of the event that i cant use hatchling as fodder for hero fusion. I thought maybe i can use it after the event ended but to no luck it still wont show as one of my choices. Pls help.

Unlock your hatcling first before using it as fodder.
open / untick the "lock" icon at top right
