Can someone tell me whats the point of this set?

Looking at the stats bonus it gives, it feel like a underwhelming and pointless set. Why HP ?

I know this is a free set, but comparing with songkran, this is underwhelming. At least say give bonus that is similar like say 200 - 300 crit / 400 - 500 attack.

To be fair, I purchased songkran package myself. But I feel the gap between f2p equip and p2p is way too huge. P2W model player should only have the advantage of faster progession rather than having superior items that cannot be obtain by any other means.

And to top it all of, 3 star sets does not increase if you upgrade it to 5 stars. Meaning you have to farm 5 stars directly to get the maximium stats bonus.

Convince me this isn't a bad planning on dev's part

Suggestions:
1) Change set bonus to at least 200 crit / 400 attack, remove the HP bonus or give lesser
2) Make 3 stars bonus able to upgrade when ranked up

or it's just for a style or troll xD, water gun?

I see 3* and 4* as upgrade fodder =D

as for 5*
Btw as Two for ranger has a perk , to get 2 parts of bonus stat* (which usually getting 10% per part is good enough, now you have chance to get 20% in total)

So the extra 10% can somehow counter act the underwhelming set bonus.

and on top of that, they gave extra (useless) 1,500 HP stat, which you might be thanking god one day if your overall equipment stat is up to par with other 5* set, and you have extra hundreds of hp to withstand killing blows.

----------------no matter how, if one can whale and get better 5* set or even have patience to get a 5* heirloom, water gun is NOT FOR YOU! (fodder them all)

yeah fodder it's more like it xD

At this rate they are going, I feel like its going be to hard to keep players like me into this game. I feel this game has amazing potential but the recent updates just don't feel right.

jk aside it is (currently) the only other set that works with the raid set, so yeah XD (many won't get near that set yet but it will be there when you need it in the future~) also include what whodahackii mentioned above- double the % XD

Hmm.. Why must everything be "useful"? I mean it can be as good as for any set item. But look.. Its call a water gun.. If you holding on to a water gun, can it kill anyone?
I mean, it could be a deliberate item just for fun. Who know when u use it in game, it will look funny?

it is better cuz we don't have to chase for every price of equipment to replace the old one.

And this is for songkran water festival which is released to be like gimmick items for festival.

3 star ones are aim for newbies which may not be able to farm heroic or legendary...
4-5 star ones are aim for veteran which you will not farm the normal stage of event anyway...

I recall previous event they have given out 5 star item such as the 5* shield selector or even the (almost non-existent) sword of darkness.
I mean to say, nobody will go make it a point to equip those item if they are underwhelming. But true, it might have a benefit for lower level players. But I do feel like there is a huge gap in difference between the p2p and f2p items. Not asking them to give exactly what songkran package gives, but at least close to it so at least f2p players can looks forward for something to, while p2p player still get the advantage they have from buying the package.

from my point of view as former f2p(before regularly buy emiko), f2p sure have gap with p2p, but from my experience i will satisfied if i can compete in arena, even i can beat top 20 arena with my*4 gear from event(piirate set)

actually i have tips for f2p or new player, but i still don't have time to explain in detail, but i hope with this hint u can find ur way urself 

every event usually give *4 set, that's what we aim as f2p(what ever the prefix or suffix), & u also must maintain ur gem resource from story, new player mistake always try to use it to spam summon(ofc if in the end ur lucky np) even if u lucky u must remember u need gold for progressing, to manage between them is the craft of f2p

i am not just talking here bcs i already help many of my friend to reach arena 3600, with this kind of method, ofc in real i tell them more detail

& ofc before u argue, that's there is still a big gap, but the gaps are reachable as long as u crafty & have passion, but currently there is gaps that's hard to reach which is raid gear, in that i hope dev can have solution so casual will not die bcs lost hope to reach it

IMHO vf maybe the most friendly environtment for f2p to not lost hope to progress like other mobile game out there. & i hope dev realize that this is their advantage to other big dev, bcs i feel they starting to lose their edge, that's why i am now active in forum, to make them remember that their core players are from SEA(south east asia) underdevelopment country so i hope they find a better notion to make profit from SEA consumer.
