I bought a small sample size, 10x pumpkin chest, I regain back 800+ pumpkins. 

There was 2 chest that net me 200+ pumpkins, while the rest was between 30-90 pumpkins. 

I would say the RNG for the chest is pretty low for 1000 pumpkins. 

I would consider just saving to complete the other stuff instead of the equipment sets. Most of the other 5* item set requires 4 or more pieces TBH.

Tbh with that candy per run, its better to just lvl up and getting more equipment.
Buut, after they update the Bazaar list, u can actually exchange ur candy for a *4 set armor, which is quite powerfull for early game IMO

I already complete heroic and right now I'm just waiting around for job keys to upgrade my first 5*. Nothing else to do with my key except doing event run.

Try to clear as many event quests as possible i guess.

if you started earlier, there was a 3* skill rune redemption on the baazar. it's really good but they have taken it out le sigh. if you are f2p i will suggest getting the halloween cards to get fodders for your other units. you can get quite a bit of 3* fodders from it and even 5* fodders for faith/aura rerolling (if you dont need maleos due to having victoria/darrion for example).
