At Thailand Game Show developer's meeting, the devs did mention that those equipments from prestige reward will be available from event bazaar in the future. (Info from those who attended)

just the thought of having to spend even more to get those shiny 6* makes me cower in fear, much less think of 7*.

We can just settle for the current 5*, enhance them to 6* and 7* so it's the same.. Right? Right?! T__T

There is no need. I'm also at prestige 8 and I don't see any problem competing in any area of the game. I'm not even in top guild. Just chill at my own guild. If your focus is pve, you should not be worrying about arena much. Just reach as far as you can, and then back to build a team for pve. Now I'm happy with my arena rank so I will turn to nurturing my pve team to clear legendary capitol last stand and legendary stage 20 and above.

Almost every similar game out there is P2W, people pay to get an edge over others. Take away that or reduce the impact of gaining an edge over others and I doubt many will bother spending as much as they are now. That being said, apart from the bad RNG, this game is kinda generous in giving free stuffs and gems already imo.  

Yup. I think every free game is P2W game in disguise. They set environment to tempt players to spend. This game seems to set the difficulty of getting good heroes at low rate while giving u a lot more of other resources to make you feel needed to get good heroes so you can invest those resources on. Still, in the end, it's those that play longer that are stronger. Not those that spend more at some point of time.
