Re: Rng in event succes.....

Sorry for your bad luck. I was declined to give up on 100% achievement as I only got 1 hatchling for the whole 1st week. While the game gave us 7 hatchlings from daily gifts and achievement rewards, i was missing 2. But there was a trick of fate 4 days ago, i got 5 or 6 hatchling in one day and completed achievement. The day before yesterday i got 0 hatchling. 2 hatchlings yesterday and 1 hatchling today. Dont know if im lucky coz i dont know the progress of majority players. But there is one day left. I wish u best luck on the last day.

I understand Ryozanki on the achievement aspect. We have to achieve it not getting it for free. Free stuff is not considered achievement. But if there are some players that devote his/her times throughout event and still dont get required number of hatchlings (only 3), something needs to be checked by devs.

There will be players that will be able to admit that they are unlucky and there will also be players that cant accept the fact that they are unlucky. The devs should consider whether achievements should all be based on effort or some RNG involvement. But it may not be appropriate to use RNG to reply on all matters. At the end of the day, its hard to please everyone. I still recall some players post here complaining that they dont have time to complete all event achievements while some could argue that if achievement can be done in a few days who would bother playing the event. While maintaining and designing concept of VF, pls also make sure to maintain the happiness of players base on the part that is not too demanding or selfishly requested as well.

Yeah, one of my friend is also on the verge of failing his Milestone just because of RNG on the event quest lol.
I really appreciate the devs for the update. But really, we got too much RNG already as it is, you know that some ppl just got a really bad luck that you literally killed them with that quest D:

I'm one of the victim too lol. I believe there are more ppl out there who suffer from rng like us. Hard work don't matter here, just pure rng, and it's being called ACHIEVEMENT in VF. Lol

Before: Put tough challenge, must complete Legendary mode, players complain too hard cannot complete

After: Remove requirement to complete Legendary mode to get 100% chest, add hunting and farming element, give players half of the required items, players complain too RNG

Suggested idea: Just remove quests from the game and give players 1000 gems everyday

Personally I got like 30 hatchlings farming only Heroic 6, so if the drop rate is the same for Heroic 5 then it must be really tough luck.
I heard people got a lot from heroic 4 though, try it for the last day.
Hope RNGsus is on your side :)

I wouldn't call rng as farming, u can farm 20 days nonstop with good rng, get 30. Or u can farm 20 days nonstop, with worst of the worst rng, get 1.

Unless there are thgs like farm 100 times of this get a confirmed 1 of the reward. That I would call it "farming"

EDIT: sry, what I mean is, yes there is farming element , but add in rng element and call it a "achievement", no... I wouldn't call it achievement.

Imagine a game with all the quests just based on Kill this monster X times.

The difference is, people actually try to farm this time. But RNG just won't allow them to get Phoenix Hatchling. I managed to clear it on the first week, but some ppl just can't get one even when they farm all day these past weeks. So I think it's a valid complain.

But is the drop rate really that bad? Though i must say, I have changed over 70-80 tickets but i never get hatchling before. I got them through the quests.
Hmm, Or he farming at the wrong quest? Because I know that boss level drop the hatchlings, how about those non-boss levels?

That's why it totally rely on RNG. I managed to get 24 of those hatchlings, one of my friend even got like 40s of them.
And one my friend is diligently playing, but still can't find the last hatchlings for his quest completion. He's my RL friend, and he farmed everyday for the start of the event till now. He only managed to get 2 outside the 5 hatchlings from the gift and 2 more from quest. So . . Yeah, the drop is bad for some people . .
