Re: Opinions on the 2 new heros

Has anyone actually tried Aden and tested his dmg on low level creeps to confirm that the skill dmg is calculated in this manner in reality? Because the conclusion of this is that his skill would hit way harder than almost any non-berzerker character, including Valiants.

I don't have one but I've seen a few people using it but you need to survive the first hit. The few hits afterwards may be ~200 or so (unless from a very high attack ranger) but if you're low on defense to begin with it will not help much.

Let's say the opponent Sharpshooter shoots first because the highest attack ranger always attacks first. If they have around 13.5k attack with buffs and crits you which is about 20k, and say you're on the 2nd column - you'll take 20k*.75 which is around 15k damage minus your defense and you need to survive that hit; of course this is assuming very high attack SS and presume they crit.

Assuming a crit focused ranger like Gunslingers and Grandrangers on a less extreme scale, they might have 6.5k attack and 6.5k crit with maybe buffs from either SS Nadia or Kira and they might have 8k attack. If they crit they'll have 12k attack which after hitting the 2nd column will do 12k*.75 which is around 9k damage minus your defense - which means simply relying on Aden alone is not enough you may need some other forms of mitigation either from persistent auras or paladin absorb etc.

With more unpolished ranger teams it'll definitely help alot (looks at my 5k attack 5k crit GS feelsbadman) but you may still die from a 10~20 chain trigger~ XD

P.S. Although not BK Aden; I think LeonZai made a video showcasing CK Aden if you're interested XD I think it was under Game Guides?

P.S.S. I guess you can sac that unit too if your other units have enough defense after BK Aden's aura proc? Sorry I don't have one so can't test. XD

Regarding Izumi, I find magebane more useful if only for this event. Samurai aura looks good but you need to survive attacks for it to work.

I think Magebane izumi is good against multiple opponents, while Samurai Izumi is prefered for megabosses. as I think Megabosses don't move, and unable to be charmed. Not sure how it would work if the megabosses can be charmed, probably prime example of "stop hitting youself".
