That's the reason why events should use 4* for some of its quests. It will create variety into the game then everything is about 5*.

Variety comes with new units, greater the pool is, better is the variety.

OMG, ya I realized that minior earth drop rate is really bad. Took me alot of rounds to get the 40. But dont be sad, it come eventually. the event just started.
