Just wanna get your opinion on this....
Where will you spend your tickets?

I need PIXIES expecially ares and kratos... however i need equipments too as fodder to upgrade my heirloom items to 5* lol!!

Unless you are REALLY REALLY lucky, you won't get anything precious enough on 1-5* new year ticket.
Either its the 1* skeleton or the 2* star purple bug. But this is only from my personal experience. Of around 70 tickets, the only thing I got other than those two is 3* ice elemental.
If you are planning to maximized your heirloom sets, then go ahead with the heirloom ticket. Be warned though maximizing them requires not a small sum of money and lots of equipment fodder.

I got 1 pixie and 1 undead jailor from 50 tickets, the rest are fodders

after that first 50 ticket, only fodders...

I tried having the monster tickets before and its really bad, because its a good place to get 3* without using gem. and save gold also.

If you have the heirloom set already, ideally the one u need, then u should spam on the monster tickets, because weapon fodder can only push u to 4*, from there, to get to +15 is already very cost spending and will take very long to get to 6*. Further more, most of the time, you get 1* or 2* equipment, which is not useful as fodder for 4*, the rate to get 3* is worse than the last event. (Even the heirloom set drop rate is lower, i feel) I have to spend all the cookies from the rewards to get the heirloom sets in their proper suffix, but its worth it because u don't really get any potential 6* that easy.

From now, i get all the hammers, the chests, and the hero tickets. Then i going to spam on monster, but each round can only net 17 cookies, so its a long run for a decent amount. (Previous event can net like 3 per run)

I seriously believe that the herloom sets are one of the best features introduced to us recently. First, it puts the pressure lower to complete the other purple sets and you have the "Chance" to get them at your preferred Suffixes! Second, they can "Match" some of the existing 3-part purple sets but you have to enhance them up to 5 stars to have at par performance so kudos to VF Devs in having this feature for F2P to have a chance to have decent match against P2P.

I recommend you to farm them UNTIL you get your preferred suffixes. My Mage Heirloom set is all "Of Wizardry" but I spent lots of tickets before getting them. This time, I still spent a lot of tickets to have the ranger heirloom set with "Of Might" suffixes! Then go for the other redeemables at the event shop. Enhancing them to 5 star might be hard but it's all worth it!  

I stocked up around 900 energy as I was only logging in to get energy and I was not even doing daily quests for the past few weeks. Used up all energy to finish and then spam the event. Used all tokens to get 2-4* tickets then rest went to Lunar Tickets. 900 energy spent and 0 Pixies nor Undead Jailers to show for it. 2800 gems later, 0 Vincent nor Naida. Spent the last few hundreds to get heirloom sets and for some reason everything I got was of "Might" suffix so I think every heirloom in this event is locked to a specific suffix. #FeelsBadMan

TL;DR - Get the Heirloom set first, it's a lot easier to get and you will get it for sure unlike gambling with Lunar Tickets.

No, suffix is not fixed. I have wizardry, defense and zodiac before. Kinda annoy by it.

Well damn. I guess all my luck went to heirlooms then. I got 3 full archer sets with "of Might" suffix. Never even rolled any with a different suffix.

1 might and 2 zodiac bows
3 might wings
3 might accessories

will stop when i get 2 more might or trinity bows
