It has been 1 week since i've been playing.

I have a shizu 5 (samurai) Ares

4 Drake Ares

4 Leon Zeus (blood knight)

4 Talissa Hercules, 3 Talissa Athena

4 Cybella Kratos (going for grand ranger)


I have 20 valianites and I am wondering where to spend them.

Should i get a summoner? Or buy a 5 star hero and save for pixies to change my cybella's faith.


Oh and by the way I was planning to buy a costume for shizu. Is it a stupid thing to do?

I am not a hard core p2p player. Just planning to spend around 30~50 dollars a month.

wait for the maintenance first... not sure if any changes to other heroes.

since you just started playing... below are my opinions

1) Faiths (and Pixies) really shouldn't be your priority.
Sure, that Cybella might be best being hera and it would benefit from a pixie but with just a single Cybella GR, it's not going to do much for you. Archer trigger teams requires 3 or 4 well made archers to work, so having a single Hera Cybella won't benefit you much currently. Plus, with more summonings, you may get Hera Cybellas (etc) and then you can replace your old non Hera Cybellas with them (saves you the Pixie)

2) Gear reforging also won't be a priority for you until you start min-maxing (and have a squad(s) to do that)


Suggestion to store the Valianites to buy 

1) event heroes (if you can't summon one) to complete current events for more rewards if you find it very hard to complete (100%) the events (which is normal for a new player). 
Note: Not all event heroes are useful/required to complete events but some drastically helps out a lot especially during their events.

2) heroes that are currently useful to build up a squad for you to use in events or raids.
Current useful heroes include (but not limited to):
Sven Beserker - useful almost every where in or out of events.
Drake Dragoon - for raid
Matilda Witch Doctor - for raid
2 life steal slaves (Leon/Miu/Darrion/Drake) but i do not recommend using Valianites for this group unless you are really missing the last piece of the puzzle for raid.
Talissa Warlock - for pvp
Cybella GR/GS - for trigger archers
Ronan - still quite useful for pvp
Faye - useful shield for pvp/pve

Once you build up a team or teams then do you look to optimizing them.

The above unit recommendations came before today's hero/valiant changes/balancing and may no longer be valid.

For one, at the moment, Sven Beserker is looking to be greatly affected by his nerf for PVE. Other units haven't been looked through yet.
