I spent some $$ to get to 400 gems pull, this is my bag, need help about forming my squad...
which to stay? which to be ate?
is 3 star hero should be ate directly ?
what should I do next?

for now just focus on raising ur freya and kai to 5*..as for 3* non 5* able unit, they make a good fooder for ur 5* unit latter..kept the 4* unit also since they might help u for now..and one more little advice, try to clear all the trial in story quest coz the gems reward is quite handy for u

thank you, I stuck in last story quest, the final boss just keep silence me, don't have a chane to use my skills... silence until death.for now just focus on raising ur freya and kai to 5*..as for 3* non 5* able unit, they make a good fooder for ur 5* unit latter..kept the 4* unit also since they might help u for now..and one more little advice, try to clear all the trial in story quest coz the gems reward is quite handy for u

That freya of yours is one of the valiants so she should be raised

Kai mage bane should have some utility.
Freya is a good valiant dmg-wise, so take some time to see how you want to play her, as pure dmg, or maybe with some added utility, decide her 3rd tier class and then move towards it.
Since you don't really have a decent healer yet, Priest Claude should suffice for a while. If you don't want to spend too much time on it, then use Theia, and wait for a Teresa, Luthor or Lucille pull.
