Hi, this is my first time posting on VF forums, but I've been around VF for quite some time now. I could say I'm an avid gamer, playing lots of titles across several platforms and VF is definitely one of few games that caught my attention and had me playing continuously from the very moment i began my adventure in Arathos. Here are some suggestions and recommendations on several changes that I personally feel that could improve the game and hopefully be taken into consideration by the developers :
1. Highlight of my suggestion that I really really really really really wish VF could implement and take into consideration. ''Pre-Set'' Equipment and Rune sets. This isn't something new. I believe most games has such a feature. Let us create pre-sets of equipments on a character so that we don't have to waste our time transferring all our equipments one by one from one character to another, just to switch back afterwards. This is especially important since I believe most players switch their champion gears to Drake and have them switched back to their Vincent/Sven after raid is done.
Example :
Drake
Pre-set 1 : Heirloom Set (Equipping)
Pre-set 2 : (Second pre-set)
Pre-set 3 : (Third pre-set)
Sven
Pre-set 1 : Heirloom Set (Raid is done, want to equip back now)
Pre-set 2 : (Second pre-set)
Pre-set 3 : (Third pre-set)
Whenever one equips the pre-set, it would force remove the gears that's currently equipped on another character, thus removing the parts that's being equipped by Drake and have it transferred over to Sven.
This should be applicable for Runes as well, rather than moving them one by one.
The costs could also be simplified by creating a pop-up such as ''Transfer of runes would cost 9,000 Gold. Accept? : Yes/No''
2. ''Auto Battle''. From the day I began VF, I'm already annoyed by the auto battle system not allowing us to toggle on/off for skills usage while i'm trying to do trials that requires you to ''Clear quest without using any skills''. It just gets more annoying as days passes, up until now when clearing lower-stage events (e.g. floor 1 ~ 20 on previous Tower event that has this trial requirement)
3. Please show the quantity accumulated on the garrison's buildings, especially annoying when the watermill doesn't show it until I click on it, just to exceed my maximum energy cap and break my energy regeneration until i used up my energies to make it below cap. It's annoying to keep track of the last time i clicked on my watermill to know when would it touch +36 energy again. Also, please show the time remaining before next tick on the building, especially for buildings like Gem Cavern and Academy. This however, may have a problem with the gold mine since it ticks almost every few second, and i have yet to think of a suggestion that could solve this. Perhaps showing the time remaining only for certain buildings that goes up to minutes/tick.
4. The daily bonus that is applied every 6pm - 10pm (GMT +8). On EXP and Rune days, I have no complaints as it is already decent as it is. But as for Gold day, the gold received per stage is increased by +50% (+100% on sundays) for these hours. I find this extremely purposeless. We're getting approximately 200 ~ 500 gold per stage, and that bonus does nothing when a single ugprade on an equipment just to see it fail could cost us 20k gold in a click. There's no stages that gives us ''gold'' in cash for us to farm as well. Only gold mine stages that drops gold-bars as loots to sell, which has zero affiliation with the daily bonus buff.
I would suggest removing the +50%/100% gold from stage feature and replace it with something else that actually has some benefit to it.
For example :
- Increased drop rate of Gold Bullions / Gold Bars during these hours.
or
- Increased number of stages in Gold mine up to stage 15 during these hours.
or
- +50% ~ +100% of gold received from selling items. Meaning, if you were to sell items during these hours, every item's price is marked-up by +50% ~ +100%. A gold bar worth 5,000 gold would fetch for 7,500 ~ 10,000 gold.
5. Re-rolling main stats on equipment that has ''Random'' main stats. Getting a 5* ~ 6* equips with the wrong main stats can render the equipment functionless. Even with the set bonus, the impact of the main stats is huge enough that the equipment could not cope with other existing sets of equipment that has fixed main-stats.
Create a separate reset that costs golds/gems/valianites to re-roll the main stats of an equipment. I recommend to NOT combine it with suffix re-rerolling as this would make the possibility of re-rolling the right suffix with the right main stats extremely low. (1/5 on suffix re-rolling, and a further 1/5 for main stats). It could even destroy an already-correct main-stats equip into wrong stats by re-rolling suffix.
6. Destroy and re-build buildings that we've once built with lesser costs (Reduction in the Gold cost or Time taken). This is the second time i'm building a marketplace and the cost and time-taken to re-build it is extremely high and long. For buildings that we've once built, perhaps reduce the gold cost of reduce the time taken, to maybe half of previous. This however could be abused by new players to reduce costs by simply destroying and re-building again, thus the reduction of costs/time taken should only be applied if the building has once been maxed out. Meaning, only a ''Max Lv.'' building could have the privilege of a lower-cost upon destruction and re-building any time in the future.
7. The Academy. Allow us the option to generate 4* promotion items too. E.g. Lancer Relics / Slayer Relics.
8. The birthday implementation is a very cute thing. Would love to see events affiliated with their birthday, maybe a special cut-scene / side story or even draw-rates up for birthday heroes.
