if you tap and hold long enough (about 2 second) on energy you can see the timer.
FYI you can zoom in and zoom out garisson by double tap
also when you hold image of hero when selecting hero in squad you will bring to hero page

Event tries? those reset daily. 5am (GMT+8)

Events like the current Halloween Event. As it only states that event ends is a week, which is kinda unclear.
