Re: [Suggestion] Lower the costume price for next costumes release

They would most likely have a statistics for this. Pretty sure alot didn't buy because even on my friend circle, only 1 bought some costumes while everyone else didn't buy at all. If they saw they didn't have enough sales, prices would surely go down. Though, I've saw alot of companies who never learn their lesson and 12braves might be one of them. Really not sure why Gaben's "Less is more" isn't popular to other companies yet.

Most prob is because the costume applys to all class of the valiant hero. So if you got all 4 types, u got each having stats and it will be like 150 gem per hero only.
I think that how they view it. But how many of us got all 4 classes of each valiant? That will be like so far fetched.

I just got darrion and so tempted to get the costume, but I guess I let it pass.

Im actually seeing VF becoming a money-hoarding group. I love their game but their prices are ridiculous, coupled with their inability to fix some critical issues in game (Roles of mystics now, skill bugs, among others) is just plain wrong. Their release outside SEA will generate money and so is happiness among themselves while frustration for the players who enjoy this unique game will continue to grow.
Ferico:They should release a one-time use costume for valiants. The 480 gems is reasonable as it will apply to your single valiant with various classes (1 costume for all Shizu if you have her both in Assassin or Magebane for example).

So I suggest they release a 150-200 gem costume for single-use only which I can only suit up my Assassin Shizu but not my Magebane for example.
Hi, let me ask you one question: Have you done any programming and game design related jobs before? If no, please refrain from such thinking. Making game changes and designing stuff is not easy as you think. However, I cannot stop you from thinking so, but at least go look up on working in a game development company/team.

Prices wise yes I agree that it is too expensive that a costume cost more than a 10times summon draw. Putting it around 150-200 is too cheap too as that amount could be farmed easily. I think > 200-300 is quite reasonable.

I actually do not see the relation of having a programming experience with constructively suggesting a price for one-time use of costume that has a little stat boost. Youre making it seems that I have to be a programmer before I should think from your statement "please refrain from thinking", utterly disgusting.

Still, imagine having to part with 600 precious gems of yours in the future? just that thought alone makes me cringe.

well, if you notice, there is a bundle option...
It MIGHT be possible that with the next release of costumes, a bundle will be released, and it will be much cheaper?
For now, VF is relatively new, and more content is upcoming, with adjustments in progress. As such, feedback like these would help developers understand how players feel about the content.

But let's get back to topic
WARNING: Wall of text and calculations below. Skip to conclusion if you don't want to read.
1) At max level, Gem cavern provides 5 gems every 8 hrs, so that's 15 gems daily.
2) Completion of daily quests provide 15 gems daily.
So, in a month, that gives about 900 gems.

3) Arena, even if you are in the lowest rank, gives 10 gems per week (I'm writing from memory, so might be wrong here)
So in a month, that's 40 gems

4) It is possible to get gems from wishing, etc, but let's not count that in case your luck is really that bad.
5) There are also gems from trial completion + quest completion, but let's assume that ALL quests and trials are completed, so, 0.

From 1 - 3, that's a total of 940 gems per month, so players can get a costume every month. If you choose to use the gems in other manner, that's your choice, but please do not feel that you are entitled to be given enough 'free' gems to buy costumes AND get 5* heroes/valiants AND 5* equipment.
Furthermore, for the current event, every 5th floor gives about 15 gems upon quest completion.
A) Exile Tower has 30 floors, so assuming you are having a really tough time, can only clear 15 floors, that's 15(gems/trial) x 3(trials) x 3(set of 5 floors) = 135 gems.
B) Unity Tower has 50 floors, so assuming you are having a really tough time, can only clear 20 floors, that's 15(gems/trial) x 3(trials) x 4(set of 5 floors) = 180 gems.
C) Event quest completion gives about 150 gems or so, before counting in the bazaar.
A - C gives maybe 500+ gems?

So, from the above calculations, it means that  you should have about 1400 gems, maybe more. So, if you save up properly, you might be able to afford 3 valiant costumes at the 'discount' price. Which, I think is slightly pricey. Personally, I think 480 gems should be full price, maybe a good discount price would be 350 gems, which give players who manage to save up up to 4 costumes in exchange for (likely) no gem pulls for 1 month (except for the free summons)

Conclusion
Monthly gems count = 940++
Event gives about 500+ gems alone
Total gems = 1400+, good for 3 costumes
Price of 600(480), ok, but feel that it is a bit pricey, maybe should go a bit lower like 480(350), because gems are also used for summonings and all.

I think you are getting the wrong point there, I am not stating that for your suggestion of the "price for one-time use". If you felt disgusted not my problem, it just proves that your English is just so. Not reading and understanding properly I think people are more disgusted by that attitude of yours.
If you are having problems with English please do say so, I would be real nice to break down each sentence and meaning for you.

I am pretty sure the dev has calculated how many free gems a player gets on average per month and come up with the pricing.

Having bad understanding of English would make your point invalid since what you are referring to and what I am referring to is not the same thing. In short we are not on the same page.
