Event energy requirements and rewards

Sat Jan 21, 2017 4:23 am

Hi,
Ive been struggling to burn all the energy i stored for the event until now. 10 energy per run that will last for 10+mins is a chore. 60 full energy plus 30 energy from expedition and another 30 for windmill will net you 2 to 3 hours of event grind straight. So basically you have to spend 6 hours a day just to fully utilize your energy with this kind of event. Why not just double or triple the energy cost and double or triple the rewards. It will not feel as repetitive as before and players are more excited to have 20 or 30 energy for 1 more try on the event. We have life too!!

Well the event does not allow express tickets so that is an issue. But then you can also use it on story, you get to farm more stuff.

And you build a watermill to provide the energy that you are struggling to burn. It's like asking for more food and when you are full. Destroy the watermill and build something else.

Facepalm. The issue is i want to be able to compete in the ladder. Unlike previous event where you can auto and spend your energy fast, this event and the holloween event force you to sit and spend 10 to 15 mins per run.

Not building a watermill is a VERY GREAT idea

What I do is just build a relatively ok team that can get about 400-500 ice creams, then auto them daily. It takes about 5 min on auto, but I can pretty much even auto them at work. Set the auto, work, come back in 10min or so, repeat.

Keyword "ladder" and efficient use of energy. Auto could net me 600 to 700 icecream but if you play manual, i can get 1600+ icecream

Welcome to the economic concept of trade off. Time or efficiency.

Oh look, this game has a ladder, everyone needs to build a Watermill bceause of that! it's just how things are. I agree with OP, energy depletes too slow when I wake up with so many energy to spent
My suggestion? Raise the energy cost for long time events, Like this event could cost 15 energy and we would like it a bit more....Everyone wins!
