Lol by giving 1 Kahuna to everyone means everyone is participating... sigh ok.
They're not giving anything away. They still have to do the 100% Quest or 1000 gems. But alter the 100% Quest to be more accessible, not this 21 Trial Quest clear that, let's be real will be impossible to new players. Make it challenging not impossible.

In the end is it difficult to please all people.

I wish the devs find a good way to make everybody happy. Example i think of would be: 1 seasonal event with some medium to good loot. Normal to heroic difficulty.
2) a seperate raid ( same theme as the seasonal ) only accesible after clearing heroic for example.
This would push newer players to: a) at least go trough a major part of the quests giving them a good understanding of the games mechamics,bufs, team builds and city expansions b) get the seasonal rewards for 100% so not missing out on the once a year hero.
The advanced players will have the raid with seperate loot and the event.
Put a bazaar in the event so new players can farm *4 equipment with tokens as it is now.
And in the raids RNG items. Going from 4* to 5*. ( maybe even 6* stars wink wink to the devs) so we have to do some grinding.
The newer players will not feel left out because they can participate the event and look forward to do the raid when strong enough.


NOTE TO DEVS: could you consider a type of quest where each of the 5heroes is controled by a different player kind of thing? Been drinking alot right now and that seems like a awsome idea.

Oooh I like this. Some games do this to give stronger players more challenges and rewards, but also rewarding the new players for playing the game!

Oooh I like this. Some games do this to give stronger players more challenges and rewards, but also rewarding the new players for playing the game!

Creating a new game mode unlockable at higher level ( but on a seasonal calendar) is the only way i see to keep everyone happy. Reducing the difficulty will make people angry and keeping it will make people angry. So lowering the next event but adding a complete new one with a entry restriction is the only way i see we can keep everyone happy and avoid those kind of sometimes heated debates that might occur with the next events.

Ninja eddit: dont drink and drive, drink and type is ok! Unless you are behind the wheel i guess...

My ideal form of reward is to make the exclusive hero available at 60% and for people who can complete 100%, give them a set of 5 stars eq catered specially for Kahuna.

Because I believe end of day, the players new or veteran, will wish to have the exclusive event hero. What they want to do with it is entirely up to their own jurisdiction.

Trust me. Most players here just want the heroes. U can create a poll to ask the general public if they agree to have the hero unlocked at 60% instead of 100%. It's a free 5 star after all to those who can get 1. Whether they use it a not they can use it as a fodder.

Where's the exclusiveness then? I think previous events were easier as the hero involved were only up to 4-Star.

Just tone down on being angry, we're trying to find ways to accommodate ALL. Not those who are angry, not those who are not angry, but everybody. We want everybody to be happy regardless if they know it or not. 

You already said that you're prestige 10 and you're not getting 100% achievement. That itself is already a red flag. Why is the game punishing you a paying customer? You should be respected and appreciated.

Kahuna regardless of his substance is the core of this event, he is the driving force of the story, he is in the pictures of the promotions, he is everywhere alongside Seraphina. It is beside the point what anybody feels about them, be it mine or yours. 

If the game's event REVOLVES around a character do it so that everybody would feel accomplished no matter how little the compensation is. Be it Kahuna's toenail, or his backhair. At least you've participated in this event. But accessing Kahuna is too great a hurdle. That is a problem. He is behind a wall where people can do little to none of getting over. 
I don't feel punished. I understand that it does not mean paying customers are the strongest and must be able to clear all events and achievements. I pay because I needed more heroes back then and didn't have time to grind for them.
I don't see a need for me to hit 100% achievement for ALL events. I am just so chill. But I do agree the drop rate for Unrefined Gems is low. That is my only concern.

Kahuna... Let's just say I am not really into completing the Pokedex at the moment. Just got to wait until the event heroes return again.
Again we're returning to what you feel. 

The current difficulty, regardless of what anyone feels, is simply tasking for new players. That's a fact. A 21 Trial Clear quest where old players might have an issue is a big deal for a new player. That already means that it's a big deal for them when they reach that point. 

The requirement for the 100% Quest is too grave. They should restrict new players from getting other things, but not the completion of quests. Don't let them have more Kahunas, don't let them have the gems etc. But do not restrict them from getting a Kahuna in the first place.

This is not what everybody is supposed to feel. It is what everybody should have access to. I'm not posting here to make things easier for myself. I'll be getting my Kahuna, I don't mind. But new players should not be neglected. New players = more income = longevity. That's all.
Yea 100% is pretty much out of reach for newer players. But everyone old or new players still can get at least 1 Kahuna though unrefined gems. So its still all good.

You can think of exclusive for this event meaning any future event like Christmas or what, this unit won't be available anymore and only those who participated and meet the criteria. This kind of exclusivity to me is better than an exclusivity that even when one participated but still cannot hope to get it like your dear friend who spend the pumpkins but can't get anything.
So players who join the game late, they won't be able to get the this hero which make it exclusive. I think people can come to term with this exclusiveness just like leandra where she was advertised long ago. If people still miss Leandra then nth can help it since she was there for grab since more than half a year ago.
