Yes, don't be offended, I know how tough this event is, how bad the x10 pull is.
Why should we be grateful about all these changes in event?
An event can just be like lulu and aaria where the event token only serve one purpose, sell as gold. No bazaar whatsoever. Should we not be grateful that some suggestion resonate with the developer's grand scheme of the game and introduce bazaar for all to enjoy?
A game is suppose to put people in a cognitive process in determining whether which and where energy and gem is being spent on. Whether to complete the event 25%, 50% or 100% depend on those thinking process. So if the bazaar offer weak and subpar item, do we as player try to make full use out of it or run to the forum?
I too agreed that we should help fellow player, f2p and p2p alike and event should be accessible to public and I believe this event and all other former event have a rather Low entry point, therefore all are able to play the event one way or another.
However, what we have here is players that have access to the event wanted the ability to full clear it without even revealing what setup he is using. You might not be able to full clear event now, but that doesn't mean you won't be able to do it in the next event.
Lastly, no one said anything about the event won't be nerf so just chill and wait for dev to balance it out ya.
I think my words may have been misconstrued, I'm not saying forget the past Events during BETA, but don't hold it against the F2P players for not being able to experience them. Since it makes it hard for the new players to have an open discussion when they've only experienced the game for 3 weeks compared to BETA that started way back Aug/Oct.
In my opinion, how little weight it may hold, that the gold from previous events SEEMS better for everyone, where everyone gets the same thing but at varying amounts.
There's this lack of completion and satisfaction for BETA, New, F2P and P2P players when they see what an event has to offer and literally only get or complete a part of it.
An Event should have novelty not exclusivity.
Exactly as you said players should think on how they spend their energy, gems etc. So when you compare the Event to the rest of the game, the Event should and does shine more. But someone posted an estimate of how scarce the unrefined gems drops are, you'll see how much this Event benefits someone who burns GEMS for Energy vs waiting for Energy to regenerate. Buying Energy should be for Ladders not for collecting rewards on a prize board.
My biggest issue again with exclusivity to certain strategies is that it restricts and bars access to almost every new player. Again this is a
THREE WEEK OLD GAME. With the plethora of classes and auras, why does the game fully embolden players on certain formations? I have no issue here if they would give a bigger leeway for the Legendary Trials. Again refer to my previous rant.
I don't like to play the waiting game as to when the devs MIGHT change things. If their last minute extension of the last event is any indication of what is to come. Yikes. Again, I want the new players to feel welcome, not alienated. This is how games die by catering to old faithfuls and ignoring new players. You don't throw a bone to old players and give new players a pat in the back.
